Clear Lake Education Center has some activities, such as our high ropes challenge course, that may be scheduled at a fee for your rental group. Visit our Programs page for more information and Contact Us to discuss arrangements.
There is an amphitheater with a fire pit, ample bench seating, and limited split firewood supplied. You may wish to bring an axe or maul to split more. However, please do not bring in any firewood from other areas.
There is a 2 mile trail around Clear Lake that provides many opportunities to see wildlife. Neighboring Colwell Lake Campground has a hiking trail around it as well, and there are many forest roads to hike.
Canoes and paddles available for rent which can accommodate approximately 20 people. PDF's are available (please see note in Reminders). It is recommended that an adult accompany any children wishing to canoe.
Fishing - There are a variety of fish in 109-acre Clear Lake ranging from Large and Smallmouth Bass to Splake and Pumpkinseed Sunfish to Yellow Perch. The public access site has very limited accessibility for boats - small and carry-in are recommended.
There are many forest roads to enjoy, and the trail around Colwell Lake is improved to accommodate bicycles. Please be well-prepared for rugged conditions, heat, and insects - proper footwear, helmets, water bottles, and insect repellent are recommended.
Ball Field - There is a large field available for various structured or unstructured activities. Some kickballs, soccerballs, and others are available for use. Specific equipment is furnished by the renter.
