Clear Lake Education Center connects people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to the natural world.

Employment Opportunities

Clear Lake has a seasonal education schedule. This means we accept applications for various positions throughout the year. If you are interested in applying for a position with us, please review the pdf's linked below, fill out our application form, and contact us with any additional questions.

As part of the application process, CLEC requires 3 written references. Acceptance after an interview is followed by the completion of a background check and central and sex offender registry clearances. Failure to pass the various background checks may result in a withdrawal of the offer to work with us. Any costs associated with background checks are reimbursed.

Clear Lake is operated as a partnership which includes Delta-Schoolcraft Intermediate School District, Marquette-Alger Regional Educational Service Agency, and Hiawatha National Forest.

The Education Center and its partners are equal opportunity organizations.
