When considering scheduling your group to experience the high ropes challenge course, please note the following limits.

The experience must be scheduled well in advance with paperwork for all participants sent to the Clear Lake business office at least 2 weeks prior to the expected date. Any questions or issues noted within the paperwork will be discussed with the group's leader and/or the individual participants. It is requested that the group have a minimum number of 10 participants to schedule (this helps cover the cost of having staff available to facilitate the course - see below).

Due to the nature of this activity, the gear we supply, and the construction of the high ropes challenge course, the following limits are placed on participation:

Minimum number of CLEC staff to facilitate: 2 Certified/1 Trained (dependent on number of participants)

Minimum Climber Age: 12 years old                              Maximum Climber Age: *health/fitness dependent*

Minimum Climber Weight:  45 lbs                                  Maximum Climber Weight:  265 lbs

Minimum Climber Height:  42"                                       Maximum Climber Height:  6'3"

Weather as a limiting factor - may require cancellation or postponement of participation by course manager:                                         
               Maximum sustained wind speed = 35 mph

               Extreme hot or cold temperatures

               Thunder, lightning, hail, tornadoes

~ If the scheduled experience is cancelled by the Education Center because of staff or weather limitations, there will be no charge to the group.
~ If actual number of participants is different than the confirmed expected number of participants, there will still be a charge of half the quoted fee for the missing people.
~ If the group cancels within less than 7 days of the scheduled experience, the full cost for the expected number of participants will be charged to the group.
~ If there is a cancellation by the group 7-14 days before the scheduled experience, there will be a charge of half the quoted fee for the number of expected participants.
~ If there is a cancellation by the group 14 or more days before the scheduled experience, there will be no charge.
